Altındağ Kimya offers its customers all the chemicals required for the textile printing industry. It always provides service with its product range in pigments, dyes, binders, thickeners (natural and synthetic), pre-treatment and dyeing applications.
Reactive dyestuffs are generally used in the printing process of fibers such as cotton, linen viscose. Properties of Reactive Dyes When the structure of reactive dyestuffs is examined, it is seen that it consists of four groups. These groups are; Color giving group, Bonding (reactive) group, Solubility providing group, Bridge group.
Actually, these dyestuffs are a kind of acid dyestuffs. These dyestuffs, which are suitable for forming complexes, are heated with a metal salt solution at 130 °C at appropriate pH and these substances are allowed to form metal complexes.
Disperse dyes are water-soluble dyes with substantivity to hydrophobic fibers and are generally applied in aqueous dispersions. In addition, disperse dyestuff vapors are strongly absorbed by the hydrophobic fibers. This situation forms the basis of printing with disperse dyestuff. Disperse dyestuff is a water-insoluble dyestuff and a disperser is needed in order for its particles to be homogeneously dispersed in the paste. The disperser ensures the homogeneous dispersion of the particles in the paste.
Cube dyestuffs can be used versatilely in direct, etching and reserve printing. Application with cube dyestuffs is in the form of abrasion printing rather than direct printing. It is an important dyestuff class that allows the abrasion printing of cellulose-based products such as cotton, linen and viscose.
It is applicable to the regional coloring process, which makes the purpose of creating patterns on fabric printing. The printing systems that are used extensively today have been diversified as reactive, pigment, disperse, etching, desired quality and appearance difference.
The chemicals used in a pigment printing paste can be listed as follows: Thickener, Binder, Urea or glycerin, Ion scavenger, Defoamer, Pigment dyestuff. Emulsifiers are used as thickeners. Emulsified thickeners are a mixture of water and kerosene.
Pigment dyeing is becoming more and more important due to fashion trends, affordable cost and environmental precautions.
The way the printing paste is prepared and the chemicals used are as important as the pigment dyes are for good quality printing. In recent years, businesses have been trying to minimize or not use the white sprite ratio at all.
